Break-In At Nuclear Facility: Five Suspects Cut Through Fence, Suffolk County Police Say Five intruders cut through a fence and broke into the Shoreham Nuclear Power Facility, sparking a police investigation and a public call for tips, Suffolk County police announced on Wednesday, March 5. Armed with bolt cutters, the group sliced through the security fence at 2 Lilco Road on Thursday, Feb. 8, police said. The breach caused $2,800 in damage before the suspects vanished. Duo Wanted For Stealing Cash, Credit Cards In Setauket, Terryville, Stony Brook, Port Jeff Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying two men wanted for allegedly stealing wallets and cash from unlocked cars. The incidents took place in June in Suffolk County in the Setauket, Terryville, Stony Brook, and Port Jefferson areas.  According to police, the two men entered the cars and stole wallets containing cash, credit and debit cards, and licenses.  They were seen driving what appears to be a light-colored sedan, police said. Police Seek ID For Suspect In Long Island Assault If you recognize this man, police on Long Island want to hear from you. East Hampton Police said he’s accused of assaulting another person early Saturday, June 18, near Atwell Street and Muir Boulevard in East Hampton.  The assault left the victim with serious injuries, according to police. Police Ask Public For Info On Fatal Shooting Of 18-Year-Old In Suffolk County Authorities are asking the public for help identifying and locating the person or people who fatally shot an 18-year-old on Long Island two years ago. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said Jaifield Gordon was shot on Judith Drive in Coram on Sept. 1, 2019. Officers located Gordan at about 12:40 a.m. inside of a 2013 BMW that had crashed into a parked vehicle and fence in front of 55 Beach Drive.
