Police Seek Trio Accused Of Stealing $2,000 Worth Of Merchandise From Long Island Store
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects who allegedly stole merchandise from several high-end stores on Long Island. The thefts occurred in Nassau County on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Americana Mall in Manhasset, police said. Two females and a male allegedly made off with $2,000 worth of merchandise taken from Bottega Veneta, Dior, and Gucci. Two men face criminal charges after police, who searched their vehicle after smelling marijuana, allegedly found multiple narcotics in their vehicle outside a popular Long Island mall. Teen Trio Caught With Handgun After Altercation With Cops On Long Island
Three teens were charged with felonies for illegally possessing weapons after they drew police attention by littering, according to police. Officers on patrol near the Americana Mall in Manhasset observed 18-year-old Brian Muy-Saquipella of Corona, Queens, littering outside his vehicle at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, Nassau County Police said. Muy-Saquipella refused to be cooperative when officers asked for his identification and began to fight with officers, said police.
