Winning $1M Mega Millions Ticket Sold At Long Island Convenience Store
A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Long Island convenience store. The second prize-winning Mega Millions ticket from the drawing on Tuesday, Aug. 1, was purchased in Melville, at the 7-Eleven located at 613 Broadhollow Road, New York Lottery announced. Tuesday’s winning numbers were 8-24-30-45-61 and the Mega Ball is 12. Nobody won the top jackpot, which is now estimated at $1.25 billion. The next drawing will be held Friday, Aug. 4, at 11 p.m. ET.

A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Long Island convenience store, New York Lottery officials announced. The third-prize winning ticket for the Wednesday, June 28, drawing was purchased in Huntington, at the 7-Eleven located at 126 New York Avenue. It has four matching numbers plus the Powerball. The winning numbers for Wednesday’s drawing are: 19-25-34-57-68 and the Powerball is 4. Nobody won the big jackpot, which sits at a whopping $493 million. A Long Island man was nabbed shortly after allegedly stealing a running SUV at a convenience store. The incident took place in Baldwin around 5:30 p.m., Saturday, March 4 in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store.
