Fatal Crash: 67-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Bay Shore
One person was killed in an overnight crash on a Long Island roadway.
It happened around 9:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 in Bay Shore.
The victim was riding a bicycle, crossing eastbound from the sidewalk in front of 1320 5th Ave., when he was struck by a southbound 2007 Toyota Camry in the right lane of 5th Avenue, Suffolk County Police said.
Juan Miguitama-Aguilar, age 67, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Toyota, a 66-year-old Central Islip woman, was not injured.

Head-On Crash Seriously Injures Long Island Man: Police
A Massapequa man has been seriously injured after a young driver’s vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, according to police.
27-year-old Chris Singh, of Brentwood, was driving in Bay Shore on the morning of Tuesday, May 2, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.
The accident occurred at around 7:20 a.m. as Singh was driving southbound on 5th Avenue, near Santam Court.
His 2016 Chevrolet Camaro crossed into the northbound lanes and struck an oncoming Ford truck, driven by David Seletsky, age 52, head-on.

One Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Long Island Crash
A Long Island resident was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash.
It took place around 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, when a man driving a 2008 Nissan SUV on 5th Avenue in Bay Shore in Suffolk County turned east, striking a 2019 Harley Davidson, ejecting the driver.
According to police, the motorcyclist, William Lefferts, age 61, of Bay Shore, was transported to South Shore University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver of the SUV, Aristidas Andrade, age 43, also of Bay Shore, was not injured.
The vehicles were impounded for safety checks.

A father and son have been charged for multiple incidents of making graffiti.
All the incidents occurred in Bay Shore, Suffolk County Police said,
While investigating an unrelated case, three Third Squad detectives observed Thomas Shane and Thomas Shane Jr. spray paint locations on 5th Avenue, near 4th Avenue, at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Further investigation by Third Precinct Crime Section officers determined the pair had been in the area for approximately 90 minutes, spray painting multiple businesses, police said.
