Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Long Island 7-Eleven

A suspect is on the loose after an overnight armed robbery at a Long Island 7-Eleven.

It happened around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8  in Stewart Manor, according to Nassau County Police.

An unknown male suspect entered a 7-11 store located at 156 Covert Avenue and walked up to the male store clerk, police said.

The suspect pulled out a black handgun and demanded money in which the victim complied, according to police. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of currency and fled from the store on foot in an unknown direction, police said. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-7 white man with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a black mask covering his face and glasses.
