The robbery took place around 7 a.m., Monday, March 15 at the gas station located at 740 Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square.
According to detectives, a man entered the BP Gas Station and went behind the counter and approached a 63-year-old employee, displayed a knife, and demanded money from the register.
The robber then fled the scene eastbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as being a Black male, approximately 5’11” tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black flip-flops with white socks, and a green face mask.
There were no injuries reported.
