Officers from the Nassau County Police Department’s Sixth Precinct responded to a Meadow Lane residence at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15 in Glen Head, where there was a report of a possible drug overdose.
Police said that the officers, along with paramedics, found an unresponsive man inside the home upon arrival. A Nassau County Police officer and police medic administered Narcan to the overdose victim, who “immediately showed signs of effectiveness, and became alert and responsive.”
The victim was then transported by the Glenwood Fire Department to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. His condition was not immediately available on Monday morning. Check Daily Voice for updates.
