Missing 13-Year-Old Long Island Girl Found

A 13-year-old girl who went missing on Long Island has been found.

Jenifer Garcia, who had last been seen leaving the Hempstead LIRR station on foot on Tuesday, Sept 3, was located, Nassau County Police announced on Thursday, Sept. 5.

A 13-year-old girl has gone missing on Long Island and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her.

Jenifer Garcia was last seen leaving the Hempstead LIRR station on foot on Tuesday, Sept 3, Nassau County Police said. Her disappearance was reported to police on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

She is 5-foot-3, 140 pounds and was last seen wearing black and white sneakers, blue jeans, and a gray shirt. Her probable destination is unknown.
