Suffolk County Police are seeking the public's help and offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of an alleged wallet thief police say committed the crime in March.

A woman stole a wallet that contained a diamond engagement ring, a wedding ring, credit cards, identification and cash from Hobby Lobby, located at 2052 Sunrise Highway, on March 30, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The victim’s credit card was used a short time later at GameStop, located at 99 Wicks Road, Brentwood, police said.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.

All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential, said police.
