Busy Weekend Expected For Long Island Restaurant Week

Why would you cook when you have dozens of options for eating out affordably right now through Sunday, May 5 during Long Island Restaurant Week.

Long Island Restaurant Week is underway with special fixed price menus at dozens of restaurants across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

The participating restaurants across the Island's 118 miles are offering three-course prix fixe meal with appetizers, and a minimum of three choices of entree and three options for dessert, for $29.95, all night when the restaurants are open, except for Saturday when the menu will be offered until 7 p.m.

Cuisine varies from French to Argentinian, to Japanese, to Greek, Seafood, Italian, steakhouse and more.

Long Island Restaurant Week is a tri-annual event designed to garner positive publicity and additional business for the region's restaurants.
