Thomas Moriarty, age 62, of New Hyde Park, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 31, following an investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Special Victims Squad. According to police, Moriarty – who is a pastor at Church of the Holy Spirit in New Hyde Park – sexually abused a 22-year-old man in Oceanside on Saturday, Oct. 26.  The relationship between him and the alleged victim was not immediately clear.
