Revoked License, 0.12 BAC Can’t Keep Capital Region Man Off Road: Police
A Capital Region man was arrested behind the wheel with a revoked license and a 0.12% BAC, police said Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Eric J. Herber, 34, of Stillwater, was first spotted when cops responded to “an active domestic incident call in a vehicle” on Friday, Sept. 4 around 8:45 p.m. in Saratoga, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said.
Herber was arrested for operating the vehicle with a BAC of 0.12%, the sheriff’s office said. He was hit with two felony DWI charges because he had a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years, according to authorities.

A Capital Region trio was arrested in a stolen car with cocaine and heroin, police said Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Rick C. Sweet, 38; Leah H. Detroye, 29; and Jadyn S. Flexer, 24, were pulled over around 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31 in Clifton Park, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said.
Cops spotted the three suspects in a car that had been reported stolen from Ballston Spa earlier that morning, authorities said. They stopped the car on Vischer Ferry Road in Clifton Park and found more than 500 milligrams of cocaine and a small amount of heroin, according to police.

4-Year-Old Taken For Wild Ride In Albany Police Chase As Father Flees: Cops
A Capital Region man led cops on a car chase with his 4-year-old child in the vehicle, police said.
Jeron Melton, 29, of Albany, was driving near Second Street and Oak Street when he committed multiple violations and police tried to pull him over around 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, the Albany Police Department said.
Instead, Melton sped up, fled the scene, and committed more traffic violations, cops said. He was eventually stopped near Livingston Avenue and Lark Street, authorities said.

Bodies Of 4 Family Members Recovered After Florida-Bound Plane Vanishes: New Update
A desperate search by air and sea has ended in tragedy.
The bodies of four members of a Miami family were recovered on Tuesday, Sept. 8, after their Florida-bound private plane went down near the Bahamas, family members told ABC News and NBC 6 South Florida.
The victims were identified as pilot Mario Lamar Sr., 80; his wife, Lili Lamar, 79; and their grandchildren, Sofia “Sofi” Sosa, 28, and Christian Sosa, 22.
Relatives and civilian boaters found the family members and brought their bodies aboard their own vessels, according to a family statement provided to the outlets.
