Multiple roads in the Hudson Valley remain closed Monday, July 10, and Metro-North service was reduced after torrents of rain sent vehicles floating, created sinkholes, and flooded homes. A state of emergency was issued In Orange County by Gov. Kathy Hochul and Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus issued an executive order banning all vehicles and pedestrians from roads in the Town of Highland until 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 10. Speed Demon: Man Issued 106 Tickets After Police Chase Into Westchester From Rockland
A speeding driver from New York has been charged with fleeing a police officer and other charges and issued 106 tickets after failing to stop for a traffic infraction. Joseph S. Salazar, age 26, of the Bronx, was arrested on Wednesday, June 28, for the incident which took place in Rockland County in the town of Stony Point on Sunday, May 28.
