Driver Hospitalized After Ho-Ho-Kus Collision An elderly Mini Cooper driver was hospitalized with serious injuries following a noontime crash in Ho-Ho-Kus. The other driver refused medical attention after the Clubman and Honda Insight collided at 1st Street and North Maple Avenue shortly after 12:30 p.m. Police, firefighters and EMS from both Ridgewood and Ho-Ho-Kus were among the responders, along with two rigs from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Authorities Seek Help Finding Hit-Run Driver Who Struck Ho-Ho-Kus Woman Walking Dog Authorities asked the public’s help finding a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian walking her dog in Ho-Ho-Kus last month. The 57-year-old victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center following the 6:50 p.m. Nov. 26 crash after responders found her on the edge of the roadway at the intersection of North Maple Avenue and First Street, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Thursday. New York City police notified local authorities that the man may have been in Ho-Ho-Kus, where his minivan was found. A Bergen County Regional SWAT Team and county sheriff's K-9 unit were dispatched to Brookside Avenue in Ho-Ho-Kus, where the minivan was found. A search of the vehicle turned up nothing suspicious.
