Glenroy Patterson, 49, of Jersey City, New Jersey, was given a three-year suspended sentence and five years of probation last week, according to Chief State's Attorney Patrick J. Griffin. At 11:21 p.m., troopers responded to Route 78 West in Clinton Township after a bear entered the roadway and was struck Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling west, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
