Hudson Valley Man Killed After Crashing SUV Into Guardrail A Hudson Valley man was killed after crashing an SUV into the center median guardrail on Route 17. The incident occurred in Orange County at 7:50 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, on Route 17 westbound near Exit 122 in Wallkill. Head-On Crash Kills Hudson Valley Woman A Hudson Valley woman was killed during a head-on crash when she allegedly veered into the oncoming traffic lane, according to Clarkstown Police. The collision occurred in Rockland County around 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at North Highland Avenue and Fairview Avenue in Upper Nyack. According to Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police, the incident involved two vehicles: a Honda CRV and a Nissan Versa.  The first responding officer arrived on the scene to find the Honda CRV severely damaged and located in the middle of North Highland Avenue while the Nissan Versa was off the roadway.…

2 Men Charged With Drug Sales, Running Gambling Machines At Norwalk Store Two Fairfield County men were busted for allegedly selling cocaine and running gaming machines out of a liquor store. The arrests occurred in Norwalk on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Cocchia’s Liquor Store at 23 Ely Ave.  According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police Department, the department received information that a man named "Felix" was selling large quantities of cocaine from the store.
