Victim Burned In Fiery Explosion At Warren County Home
A fiery Warren County home explosion caused one person to suffer a burn to the head and brought more than a dozen emergency crews to the scene. The Mansfield Township Fire Company responded to a home on Willever Lake Road off Jackson Valley Road and confirmed the fully-involved blaze around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 25, the department said. 2 Victims Hospitalized In Serious Warren County Crash
Two victims were hospitalized following a serious Thursday morning crash in Warren County, authorities said. The crash occurred near Route 57 and Brass Castle Road in Washington Township shortly around 7:15 a.m., according to the Alpha Volunteer Fire Company. One of the vehicles overturned and trapped two victims, the fire company said. : Firefighter Injured In Morris County Barn Blaze
A firefighter was injured while battling a stubborn blaze that ravaged a barn in Morris County over the weekend. The fire broke out in Long Valley around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a Facebook post from Schooley’s Mountain Fire Co. The fire was knocked down within two-and-a-half hours with help from the Washington Township Fire Department and the Long Valley First Aid Squad, the post said. One firefighter was injured in the blaze but refused medical attention, authorities said. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.

Paramus House Fire Doused
Firefighters doused a Paramus house blaze on Tuesday. The smoky fire apparently broke out in an attached garage and extended into the attic of the Behnke Avenue home shortly after 11 a.m. Firefighters had the bulk of the two-alarm blaze knocked down within 45 minutes. COVID Exposure Temporarily Closes Washington Township Firehouse
Officials temporarily shut down the Washington Township Fire Department on Wednesday "out of an abundance of caution" following a COVID-19 exposure.
