A 12-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Somerset County without a helmet, authorities said. The crash occurred near Route 601 near Reading Boulevard in Montgomery just before 6:10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, according to Montgomery Police. Motorist Gets 10 Years State Prison For Fatal Central Jersey Motorcycle Collision: Prosecutor
A 31-year-old man from Essex County has been sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey state prison in connection with a fatal collision with a motorcycle, authorities said. Richard Diaz, 51, of Brooklyn was killed in the crash in Middlesex County, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department Roland Q. A 33-year-old woman from Middlesex County was listed in critical condition and a young passenger in an SUV driven by a Union County woman was injured in a head-on crash, authorities said.
