Four businessmen from New Jersey and one from Long Island laundered millions of dollars a day in cash through fronts they set up in New York City’s Diamond District, federal authorities charged.
Federal agents tied the quintet to $673 million in dirty money laundered through the illicit operations over the past four years, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

A 26-year-old Wantage man was killed after he struck the back of a parked construction vehicle on Route 80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Monday night, state police said.
Frank Orlando Jr., 26, of Wantage was driving a Chevy pickup truck when he struck the back of an international construction truck driven by Salvatore Fucci, 57, of Manchester on Route 80 near mile marker 46.3 just after 8:30 p.m., Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice.

Newark Man Identified As Third Victim Of Wrong-Way Route 80 Crash
Authorities have identified the three victims of last October's Route 80 crash that killed three people.
Ronald Francois, 28, of Newark, Jalen Davis, 20, of Stanhope, and Julia Wells, 20, of Mine Hill, were killed after being struck by Miguel Botero of Dumont on Oct. 18, 2019 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, the Daily Record reports.
Online campaigns had been created after the crash for Wells and Davis, but this is the first time in the nearly three months since the accident that the third victim was identified.

Two people were arrested in a string of more than 40 Little League concession stand burglaries occurring across North Jersey since April, authorities said.
Michael J. Kalouis, 31 of Stanhope, and Angela M. Lopez, 34 of Middlesex, broke into dozens of concession stands at pools and recreations centers overnight to take cash, food, drinks, stand appliances and tools, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced Tuesday.
The two were arrested in Wayne and charged with 11 counts of burglary each, Musella said.
