New Jersey's Attorney General has identified the scooter driver killed in a Monmouth County crash and the police officer involved in the wreck. Guyvenson Innocent, 35, of Beachwood, died in the crash on Monday, Apr. 15, the state Attorney General's office said in a news release on Wednesday, May 1. Prosecutor: Raid Of Drug-Dealing Jersey Shore Couple's Home Turns Up Crystal Meth, Heroin
A pair of Ocean County drug dealers were arrested after authorities said they found more than a pound of crystal meth and heroin/fentanyl combined, along with $13,000 in cash at their home. A construction accident at a defunct nuclear plant in Ocean County knocked out electricity in several towns, authorities said. A machine reportedly took down a utility pole and some power lines at Oyster Creek Nuclear Plant on Monday afternoon. The accident triggered a power outage throughout Berkeley Township, Lacey Township, Barnegat Township and Waretown, initial reports said. Authorities have identified the woman whose body was found on a hiking trail in Ocean County Friday as a 41-year-old Seaside Heights resident. Megan Campana's body was found in a wooded area of the Barnegat Branch Trail near Country Line Road in Waretown, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
