Jamilette Huaranga, 21, of Haledon, has been charged with first-degree murder and related weapon offenses on accusations she stabbed a 19-year-old man around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Ala Mustafa, 38, "abruptly exited" his 2018 Dodge Durango when Officers Nasir Mora and Jonathan Velez conducted a stop in a marked unit on Legion Place, Capt. George Guzman Jr. said. Patting him down, they found 104 Oxycodone pills in the left pocket of his cargo pants, Guzman said. One Caught, 4 Sought, Three Guns Tossed In Wild Haledon Police Pursuit, Crash Of Stolen Minivan Five occupants of a stolen minivan bailed out, tossing handguns as they went, after it crashed into a parked car during a brief but wild Haledon police pursuit. One of them, a 19-year-old Teaneck man, was caught. The rest fled. Officer Jeffrey Welsh had tried stopping the speeding Honda Odyssey, reported stolen out of Garfield, in the 100 block of Cliff Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday, Capt.
