NJ Boat Operator Charged In Deadly Barnegat Bay Crash, Records Show
The operator of a boat that struck a channel marker in Barnegat Bay last month, killing a 26-year-old Somerset County man and seriously injuring two others, has been charged, court records show.
Kevin Martin Wells, 40, of Warren, was arrested on Friday, Aug. 28, and charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, apparently in the death of Michael T. Bereheiko, according to New Jersey court and Ocean County jail records.
Wells was also charged with two counts of assault by auto or vessel in violation of New Jersey's DWI statute, jail records show. He was being held in the Ocean County …

Ajahmir S. Cuttino, 23, of Scranton, PA; Rhyonne S. Jackson, 24, of Passaic; Ajahwan T. Kenner, 26, of West Orange; Antrell Monroe, 24, of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and Jahad K. Watson, 24, of Wilkes-Barre, were arrested following a months-long investigation, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Lisa Erickson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and neglect of an elderly adult, Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said. A longtime Bergen County building supply business is changing hands.
Kuiken Brothers Company has reached an agreement to acquire Paramus Building Supply, a family-owned business founded in 1951, the company announced on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Kuiken Brothers currently has locations in Fair Lawn, Garfield, Midland Park, Emerson, Newark, Roseland, Succasunna, and Wantage in New Jersey, as well as Warwick, NY. The Paramus (131 Route 17) and Bergenfield (42 Portland Ave.) additions will bring the family-owned company's network to 10 locations.
