18 Unsolved Burglaries Cracked: Pair Arrested In Months-Long North Jersey Spree
Two men have been arrested and charged in 18 burglaries and one attempted burglary across North Jersey, authorities said.
A months-long investigation found Kali J. Carter, 49, of East Orange, and Demetrius D. Hale, 49, of Bergenfield, were responsible for the incidents, all of which were residential burglaries, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

Matthew Ritter, 30, and his dad, John J. Christine Grogan, Wyckoff Resident, Dies After Three-Year ALS Battle
Christine Grogan, a 60-year-old Wyckoff resident, died on Sunday, Dec. 31, three years after being diagnosed with ALS.
A special education teacher, Grogan worked as director of the Epic School in Paramus and for the Learners' Compass in Tenafly, according to her obituary. Grogan was devoted to helping people diagnosed with autism.
Grogan was married to Christopher Grogan, a Glen Ridge police officer. The Glen Ridge Police Benevolent Association has established a fundraiser to assist with funeral costs. As of Friday, Jan. 5, more than $10,000 has been raised.

Liv Morgan, a Bergen County native and former WWE Women's Champion, has run afoul of the law.
Morgan, whose real name is Gionna Daddio and who was raised in Elmwood Park, was arrested in Florida on Thursday, Dec. 14, after police found she was in possession of marijuana and a vape pen following a traffic stop, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office said, according to an arrest report obtained by Daily Voice.

Popular Bergen County Cafe Relocates After 20 Years: 'I Wasn't Ready To Be Done'
Exactly 20 years ago, Gail Corbo bought Country Cafe.
Well, back then it was called Franklin Lakes Deli. It was on Pulis Avenue in Franklin Lakes, and Corbo had been working there since her teens.
"It had a hometown feel," Corbo, of Mahwah, tells Daily Voice. "The nice part for me was that when I was working there in high school, I had people bringing their kids in, and then those people started bringing their kids in."
Corbo says, "It was a fun little spot in Franklin Lakes that a lot of kids grew up on."
