Trio Charged With Murder In 2019 Jersey City Shooting Three individuals have been charged with murder in connection with a 2019 shooting, authorities in Hudson County announced. Austin Be-Kwao, 25, Malcolm Horton, 36, and Khadijah Neal, 36, all of Newark, have been arrested in connection with the Sept. 3, 2019 shooting death of 31-year-old Lawrence Reid in Jersey City, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Reid was found having suffered a gunshot wound on Wegman Parkway between Bergen Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive around 12:50 a.m., Suarez said. He died on Nov. 20, 2020.
