Tornado Watches, Warnings Issued Across Parts Of NJ
Several parts of New Jersey were under tornado watches and warnings, as per the National Weather Service on Saturday, April 1.
Burlington and Mercer counties were under a tornado warning until 7:15 p.m., while parts of Browns Mills, Fort Dix, Hamilton Square, Marlton, West Freehold and White Horse were under the warning until between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties were under a tornado watch until 10 p.m.

A woman was arrested after she drove her car into a crowd of teenagers during a fight that she allegedly had no part in at a South Jersey apartment complex, authorities said.
The incident reportedly began with a fight between the driver, Mikayla Rodriguez-Green, 20, of Pilesgrove, and others at the Hollybush Apartments at 4:28 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, according to Glassboro police.

Thousands Without Power As Tornados Rip Through South Jersey
Tornados ripped through parts of South Jersey Wednesday evening, downing trees and destroying houses along the way, the National Weather Service has confirmed (scroll down for videos).
Firefighters in Harrison Township were conducting searches at nearly 100 homes on and around Josephine Lane as of 7 p.m., unconfirmed and initial reports say.
More than 12,000 homes and businesses were without power around that time.

Lidl Opening 2 North Jersey Stores This Month
Discount grocer Lidl is opening a pair of North Jersey locations this month.
The stores are coming to Garwood on Aug. 11 and Belleville Aug. 18.
The Garwood location is located at 10 South Ave., and will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The Belleville store will be at 414 Main St., and share the same hours.
Lidl has New Jersey stores in Lacey, Brick, Cherry Hill, Union, Lawrenceville, Bayonne, Hazlet, Glassboro, Park Ridge, Burlington, Bergenfield, Woodbridge, Weehawken, Egg Harbor, Vineland, Howell, Eatontown and North Brunswick.

Police: Rowan University Students Vandalized NJ Town's Christmas Display Causing $6K In Damages
A pair of Rowan University students were charged with vandalizing a South Jersey town's Christmas display and a local parking garage last week, totaling nearly $6,000 in damage and repairs, authorities said.
Matthew Lubicky, 19, of Delran, and William Fowler, 19, of Demarest, were charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief in connection with the Dec. 4 Glassboro incident, police said.

A 23-year-old man was hiding out in Dover when police arrested him on a warrant Monday in connection with the gunshot slayings of two Glassboro residents earlier this month, authorities said.
Daniel P. Hall, 23, is believed to be one of four gunmen who shot Manuel DelaRosa Jr., 26, and Shantal Farrow, 36, whose lifeless bodies were found in their Glassboro home Aug. 19, authorities said.
