A 49-year-old Galloway man was killed in a crash on Route 50 on Monday, Aug. 24, authorities said. At 7:26 p.m., a Suzuki motorcycle collided with the front of the Chevrolet while it was making a left turn into the parking lot of Belco Liquors in Weymouth Township, Caitlin Brennan, a spokeswoman for New Jersey State Police said. The motorcyclist, Roland Marsh, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, Brennan said. The crash remains under investigation, Brennan said. Tributes poured in for Marsh following his passing.

A juvenile was arrested and charged with carjacking in Longport on Monday, Aug. 24, authorities said. At 4:30 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of South 28 Avenue after a vehicle owner encountered the suspects inside her vehicle, causing them to flee recklessly from the area in the car, Longport police said.
