! Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Westfield Scores Big Bucks
It was a fantastic Friday for a Mega Millions player in Westfield. A Mega Millions ticket matched four numbers and the gold Megaball in the drawing held on Friday, Aug. 2, winning $10,000. The ticket was sold at Krauszer's Food Store on Central Avenue. The winning numbers were 6, 7, 24, 44, 54, and the gold Megaball was 13.

Hulk Hogan's Attorney Representing Westfield Student Filing AI Nude Photo Lawsuit
The family of a high school student from Westfield has filed a lawsuit against her peer who allegedly made A.I. nude images of her and shared them with classmates. The lawsuit was filed after the student and her family found out no criminal charges were to be filed against the defendant in the suit and other witnesses did not cooperate with police, according to the complaint. The plaintiffs are asking $150,000 for each image that was disseminated. Maui Wildfires: Community Rallies Around Westfield Native
Amy West, a native of Westfield, lost her home and belongings in the wildfires in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Now Westfield is helping out one of its own. A fundraiser has been created for West, who has lived in Lahaina since 2019. As of Tuesday, August 15, $12,575 has been raised. West plans on staying in Maui to help people however she can. North Jersey's 'The Farmhouse' Closing After 16 Years
The Farmhouse in Westfield is closing its doors. After 16 years in business and 12 at its current location, owner Kelly Richardson announced on Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 9, the furniture store will shut its doors on Sunday, August 13 at 5 p.m. "This has been a heartbreaking decision for me to make, however, we simply aren't able to outlast the current climate and circumstances that we face," Richardson, who has owned the store for the last two years, said.
