Café Displaying Pride Flag Vandalized Twice In Essex County
Recent bias incidents in Essex County last week have caught the attention of authorities.
Suspects twice smashed window at Harper's Café in West Orange on Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday, July 13, because they were flying a pride flag, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. Black paint was smeared across the window and two pride flags were defiled, Stephens said.

There were four third-tier prizewinning tickets sold for the Tuesday, July 11, drawing that matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball.
Three of the winning tickets were sold at 7-Eleven stores.
The prizes are worth $10,000.

Asthma Attack Kills North Jersey Native Samuel Cobar, 22
Samuel Cobar never let his asthma stop him from chasing his dreams, according to a fundraiser set up after his passing.
The West Orange native's asthma, however, is ultimately what killed him, those who knew him said.
"That then led our loving brother, son and best friend to have a life-threatening asthma attack while he was alone in his apartment, which had left him unconscious without oxygen for 50 mins," the campaign says.
Cobar died on Monday, April 17 after the attack while he was alone in his Florida apartment, the page reads.

Winners: Mega Millions Lottery Players Take Home $30K, $10K
A pair of lucky Mega Millions lottery players won prizes in the Friday, March 17 drawing, state officials said.
They matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 prize. One of those tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $30,000.
Those tickets were purchased at the following locations:
