Winners! Two Mega Millions lottery tickets each worth $20,000 were sold in Sussex and Warren Counties.
Tickets matching four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball for the Friday, July 29 drawing were sold at Market Place Deli on Route 23 in Hamburg and JP Kelly’s on Hope Road in Great Meadows, lottery officials said.
The winning numbers were: 13, 36, 45, 57, and 67. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

Phillipsburg Woman Threatened Victim With Knife, Demanded Payment Over Mobile App: Prosecutor
A Phillipsburg woman who threatened a victim with a large knife while demanding to be paid through a mobile application was charged with robbery, authorities said.
Melissa C. Petersen, of Red School Lane, is accused of using a large kitchen knife to threaten a victim while demanding money through a mobile application on Sunday, July 17, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release alongside local officials on Monday, July 25.
Once the money was sent, Petersen, 34, left the victim’s apartment.

A driver wanted on outstanding warrants was jailed after he brawled with New Milford police, kicked an EMT and spit in an officer’s face, authorities said.
Thomas Overton, 19, of the Bronx had no license, registration – or even license plates -- when Officer Daniel O’Neill stopped him in a BMW on New Milford Avenue near Main Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Capt. Kevin Van Saders said.
Overton immediately “became confrontational with the officer and would not provide the requested paperwork,” the captain said.
