Reward Up To $10K For Information On Newark Shooting That Killed Two The Essex County Sheriff's Crime Stopper program is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a fatal shooting in Newark Saturday afternoon.  Two 30-year-old city men, Hassan Ward and Jasson Duffy, were killed when gunfire erupted near 45 Mercer St. around 2:39 p.m., authorities said.
