Teenager Killed In Double-Shooting In Trenton: Prosecutor
A teenager was killed and a second teen was wounded in a shooting in Trenton on Sunday evening, May 19, authorities said. Stephon Fisher, 18, of Trenton, was pronounced dead shortly after the 5:50 p.m. shooting, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. A man was found shot to death in Warinanco Park on Sunday, May 19, authorities said. Shock spread through Paterson following the news that a popular 62-year-old street vendor died on Tuesday May 7, two days after he was shot. Police responding to Broadway and East 24th Street just after 10:20 a.m. Sunday, May 5 found Daryle Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center where he died, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes said. 17-Year-Old Girl Shot Near Newark High School: Police
A 17-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was shot near a high school in Newark on the early morning of Tuesday, April 30, authorities said. At 12:18 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of 14th Avenue at South 15 Street, near West High School, and found the gunshot victim, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. She was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Frage said. The shooting remains under investigation, Frage said.

One man was killed and another wounded in an overnight shooting Tuesday up the street from New Jersey City University. Police responding to a 12:45 a.m. April 30 call on College Street said they found the injured man with a bullet wound in his arm and the dead man near Audubon Avenue. One person was killed and two others were injured in a triple shooting in Newark on the afternoon of Friday, April 19, authorities said. The shooting occurred at 5 p.m. on Avon Avenue, Thomas Fennelly, a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. Shooting At Notorious Paterson Street Corner Wounds Out-Of-Towner, 42
Another shooting at one of Paterson’s most dangerous street corners sent a 42-year-old Newark man to the hospital. Shots rang out at Godwin Avenue and Carroll Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday, April 15. As officers were arriving at the scene, a private vehicle was taking the victim to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with non-fatal gunshot wounds, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi said in a joint release Tuesday. Valdes and Abbassi didn’t say whether any suspects had been arrested or identified.

Shots Fired Into Linden Home: Police
Several gunshots were fired into a home in Linden on the evening of Sunday, April 14, police said. At 10:35 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Elmwood Terrace on a report of shots fired and discovered a suspect or suspects fired several shots into the home before running from the scene, Linden police said in a release. : Montclair Officer, Suspect Both Shot In Exchange Of Gunfire, Prosecutor Says
A police officer and suspect were both injured in a shooting on Monday, April 15, authorities said. An individual in a residence began shooting at a police officer on the 100 block of Forest Street, Thomas Fennelly, a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutors Office said. The officer was hit but was able to return fire, striking the suspect, Fennelly aid. The officer and suspect were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Fennelly said. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating, Fennelly said.

4th Suspect Charged In Shooting Near Rutgers Campus: Prosecutor
A fourth man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting that occurred near the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick, authorities said. On April 5, at approximately 2 a.m., authorities responded to 66 Easton Avenue after a report of a shooting. A man was shot in Newark on the early morning of Friday, April 5, authorities said. At 3:28 a.m., police responded to Astor Street near Pennsylvania Avenue on a report of a shooting, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. Officers were advised a man had arrived at University Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound and is in stable condition, Fragé said.
