Shock spread through Paterson following the news that a popular 62-year-old street vendor died on Tuesday May 7, two days after he was shot. Police responding to Broadway and East 24th Street just after 10:20 a.m. Sunday, May 5 found Daryle Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Two men from Mercer County were killed in a pair of shootings and a car crash in a Trenton church parking lot on Wednesday night, May 1, authorities said. 40-Year-Old East Orange Man Fatally Shot In Newark: Prosecutor
A 40-year-old East Orange man was shot and killed in Newark on Sunday, April 28, authorities said. At 8:43 p.m., Newark police responded to the 300 block of Osborne Terrace and found, Deshaun Winston unresponsive at the location, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. A 32-year-old man from Perth Amboy was stabbed to death Sunday, April 28, authorities said. Jason Torres was found collapsed at about 9 p.m. at Smith and Maple streets in Perth Amboy, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Lawrence Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department. Shots Fired Into Linden Home: Police
Several gunshots were fired into a home in Linden on the evening of Sunday, April 14, police said. At 10:35 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Elmwood Terrace on a report of shots fired and discovered a suspect or suspects fired several shots into the home before running from the scene, Linden police said in a release. A group of young boys from Old Tappan are accused of sodomizing another with a sex toy. According to multiple parents, the 8th graders pooled their money to buy the penis-shaped sex aid from a popular gift company.
