A resident of Knollwood Road in Hanover reported having a black 2016 BMW B42 stolen from his driveway sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on July 19, police said. The car had been packed for an upcoming vacation and was equipped with $3,000 in cash, as well as several laptops and iPads, police said. The car, which was left with a key fob inside, was later found abandoned in Irvington using its GPS tracking system, police said.
