Accused South Jersey Killer Remains At Large In Shooting Father Of 6: Prosecutor U.S. Marshals are searching for a fugitive in the killing of an innocent bystander, authorities said. Herbert R. Lee Jr., 36, of Bridgeton, was shot to death July 30 while trying to break up a fight at Maplewood Gardens apartments. He was survived by six children, a fiancée and a sister. Police identified the shooter as Ryan A. Askins, 29, of Bridgeton, who remains at large. Another armed man involved in the fight was charged with a weapons offense.
