A South Jersey man was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for robbing three banks at gunpoint within weeks of each other, taking more than $22,000 combined and firing a shot at a customer. Authorities have released the name of a 23-year-old man who reportedly drowned in a popular but hazardous stretch of water in Weymouth Furnace Park. The man's body was recovered from Great Egg Harbor River in the Mays Landing section of Hamilton Township about two hours after he disappeared on Sunday, reports said. An 18-year-old man from Atlantic County has been arrested for possessing a loaded handgun, authorities said. New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital.
