An inmate from Burlington County is charged with beating another inmate to death at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, authorities said.
Aahznier Hayes, 22, of Westhampton, was charged with first-degree murder for the beating death of Kenneth Raymond, 52, of Ventnor, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

A 31-year-old man from Mays Landing and 35 others were indicted on charges stemming from a large-scale money laundering operation, authorities said.
Isaiah Edwards-Stewart was indicted on Tuesday, Aug 29, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
The 120-count indictment charged Edwards-Stewart with multiple counts of money laundering, theft, forgery, computer crimes, identity theft, trafficking of personal identifying information, and other offenses.

Pedestrian, 32, Struck, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police
A 32-year-old pedestrian from Mays Landing was killed in a crash, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 1:18 a.m., the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to Route 50 in the area of Spruce Street for a pedestrian-motor vehicle crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2013 Honda Pilot, operated by Michael Jackson, 65, of Egg Harbor City, was traveling northbound on Rt 50 when pedestrian Jessica Lavin entered the lane of travel and was struck by the Honda, police said.
She was transported to Atlanticare City Division Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
