Kerry Forest of Vineland died in the head-on crash. Two other drivers and a five-year-old child were hospitalized. Jersey Shore Woman, 49, Dies In Garden State Parkway Crash A 49-year-old woman died in a crash on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday, March 7, authorities said. Rebecca Goodwin was heading north in a Chevrolet Trailblazer when she struck the left guardrail, ran off the road and down an embankment, overturned and struck multiple trees around 1:05 p.m. in Ocean Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Goodwin died as a result of the crash. The left lane of the GSP northbound was closed for approximately four hours resulting in moderate traffic congestion. The crash remains under investigation.

Pickup Driver, 52, Killed In Cumberland County Crash A 52-year-old motorist died in a crash in Cumberland County, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at about 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 in Lawrence Township. Danny Burt, of Cedarville, was driving a Ford F250 pickup west on Lummistown Road when he ran off the road to the right and hit a tree, according to Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police.  Burt sustained fatal injuries due to the crash, Marchan said. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
