'Missing' Hackensack Woman Apparently OK, Authorities Say
UPDATE: A Hackensack woman who'd been reported missing apparently is safe and not in any apparent danger, but police want to confirm her well-being in person. Heather Li Torres spoke with law enforcement Wednesday night after seeing Facebook posts about her disappearance. "She said she is OK," a ranking officer told Daily Voice. "There's no reason to believe she's in any danger. A family member also advised (authorities) that she is OK." Brooklyn College Student Vanishes In DC
A massive search has been launched for a college senior from Brooklyn who vanished during a work trip to Washington DC last month. Tijae Baker, 23, was last seen April 29 by her mom, days before she left for an art convention in DC, according to those her knew her and the NYPD. Sources say she had been with a woman named Radisha Brown, and was last seen on May 1. Baker says her daughter became unresponsive after boarding the bus to go on the trip and has not been seen since. Tijae Baker is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall, and 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Seen him? Police have issued an alert for a Mercer County teen missing for several days. Samir Crawford, 15, was last seen near Pershing Avenue in Ewing around 8 p.m. on Friday, June 3, Ewing Police said. Crawford stands 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 110 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. Crawford makes frequent trips to Berwyn Avenue and 970 Parkway Avenue, according to police. Hearts Break Over Missing Wildwood Swimmer: PA's Alfred Williams Believed Drowned
Hearts shattered when the news broke that a missing swimmer off the Wildwood coast from Pennsylvania was believed to have drowned late last month. ! Missing Bergen County Man, 83, Located In Sayreville
An 83-year-old Washington Township man who went missing was found safe and sound 50 miles away, authorities said. Paul Corra was found in Middlesex County, Washington Township Police Chief Richard Skinner said early Friday, April 29. Sayreville police spotted Corra's 2003 Ford Ranger and stopped him, Skinner said. Corra had been last seen at ShopRite Liquors in Hillsdale around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, the chief said. He was involved in an accident in Fort Lee that afternoon but drove off, Skinner said. He was located shortly after 5:30 a.m. Friday.

! Missing Teen Turns Up Near Home
UPDATE: A massive search ended when a missing 17-year-old boy with autism from Hawthorne was found. Christopher Dougherty was last seen near his home on Prescott Avenue around 6:30 a.m. Monday, April 11, police said. Authorities were concerned because he wasn't wearing any shoes and had on shorts Police K9s were brought in and a New Jersey State Police helicopter was in the air. He was found at North 8th Street and Mohawk Ave barely a half-dozen blocks from home, police said.
