Seen her? Police have issued an alert for a New Jersey teen they say has been missing for nearly two weeks. Zahira Navedo, 14, was last seen Wednesday, March 30, Ewing Police said in a release on Monday, April 11. Navedo stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 126 pounds, and was last seen wearing gray leggings and a red hooded sweatshirt, police said. She is known to make frequent visits to the Roger Gardens, Hamilton and South Clinton avenues, and the Wilbur section of Trenton, authorities said. Body Of NJ Man Found In New Orleans 2 Months After Disappearance: Report
The body of a 33-year-old New Jersey man was found in New Orleans more than two months after his disappearance, The Lakewood Scoop reports. Michael Gelfand, of Jackson, was found dead in NoLa on Monday, March 21, the outlet said citing sources. His body was being flown to New Jersey for burial. Body Of Missing EU Delegate From Bethesda Found Two Months After Disappearance
The body of Sibylle Zitko, a missing EU delegate from Bethesda who was reported missing in January, has been found. Zitko, 54, went missing from the Lock 7 area of the C&O Canal around 6 a.m. on Jan. 6, the US Park Police originally reported. Her body was located after someone reported finding a woman’s body in the area of Lock 5 of the park on Friday, March 8, Bethesda Magazine reports. Alert Issued For North Jersey Teen Missing For Weeks
Police have issued an alert for a North Jersey teen they say has been missing for more than three weeks. Alejandro Tiul Choc, 16, was last seen at his home on Main Street in Hackettstown on Monday, Feb. 21, local police said in a Wednesday, March 16 release. Choc is described as a Hispanic male standing five feet tall and weighing about 130 pounds, police said. Philadelphia Woman Missing For 10 Days Last Seen At NJ Wawa
Authorities are asking the public's help in located a 27-year-old Philadelphia woman last seen in Atlantic County. Destiny Sanith was last ween at the Wawa in in Folsom Borough on March 4, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and red and white sneakers, according to New Jersey State Police. Search Launched For Endangered Hunterdon County Man
A search has been launched for a Hunterdon County man who police say may be endangered. Joseph Russo, 50, of Flemington, was last seen near Robin Hill Road in Hampton Borough around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, New Jersey State Police said. He is described as a white male, 5’ 11” tall, and approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen driving a red 2002 Dodge Stratus with New Jersey license plates HX1037. The body of a well-known 23-year-old man missing for months was found by hunters in a wooded area in Sussex County, authorities confirmed Tuesday. North Warren High School graduate Daniel Cannone — who went missing last October — was found dead in Frankford early Sunday, Blairstown Police said. A man from Central Jersey has been missing since Friday, Feb. 25, authorities said. Derek Boateng, 23, was reported missing on Sunday, Old Bridge police said. Boateng didn’t have his cell phone and he does not drive. He is 5-foot-8-inches tall, weighs about 165 pounds and frequents Sayreville and Perth Amboy, police said. Police in Trenton were on the lookout for a man who walked away from a psychiatric facility Sunday night and has been missing ever since. NJ Human Services were notified around 10:05 p.m. that Brian Thorne, 48, wandered off from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital around 8:30 p.m. He was at TPH on a non-criminal hold.
