Missing Northern Westchester Man Located In Brewster With Help Of New Technology With the help of new technology, authorities were able to find a missing man within a matter of hours. The incident began around 5:41 a.m., Friday, Nov. 1, when the Mount Pleasant Police Department reported a missing elderly male who had not been heard from since 1 p.m. the previous day.  The Mount Pleasant Police immediately broadcasted over the Westchester County Hotline information about the missing man and the vehicle he was driving.  The WCPD entered the man's vehicle information into all databases in the event that his vehicle hit any location in Westchester County. Woman Driving Without Lights On In Area Faces DWI Charge, Sheriff Says A Fairfield County woman was busted by Putnam County Sheriff's deputies for DWI after they spotted her driving without lights.  Mary K. Villaverde, 63, of Brookfield was arrested around 2:20 a.m., Saturday, March 24, when Deputy Sheriff Joseph Sadowski observed a car on Main Street in the Village of Brewster without any lights on and crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic, the department said. Male, Female Teens Nabbed For Selling Prescription Drugs In Putnam Two teens were nabbed by Putnam County Sheriff's deputies for dealing prescription drugs and LSD throughout the county, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. A Southeast man and a Village of Brewster woman were arrested on felony narcotics sales and possession charges after selling drugs to an undercover deputy with the department's Narcotics Enforcement Unit, officials said. In September 2017, a deputy assigned to the drug unit developed information that an 18-year-old male, and female, were involved in the sale of prescription medications within the county.
