All-New Eatery Holds Grand Opening In Hudson Valley
Lovers of sweet treats and tea should pay a visit to a new eatery in the Hudson Valley celebrating its grand opening.
Rowseelee, a boba tea shop, celebrated the grand opening of its second location in Putnam County at 81 Main St. in Cold Spring on Friday, Aug. 9.
The shop serves a variety of boba, milk, and cold brew teas, as well as matcha and coffee. Those with a sweet tooth can also order desserts like beignets, flavored croissants, ice cream, and lemon bars.

Two people are charged with using a child to steal merchandise from a Walmart in Northern Westchester, police said.
On Monday, Nov. 21, around 10:40 p.m., police responded to a report of theft at the Walmart in Mohegan Lake located at 3133 Main St. (Route 6), according to an announcement by New York State Police on Friday, Dec. 9.
After arriving, police found that Yonkers residents Rosa J. Margolla, age 58, and Rosa M. Margolla Rivera, age 40, had used a child to steal over $3,590 worth of merchandise from the store, police said.

A 21-year-old man from Northern Westchester is in trouble after he aggressively approached a victim with a baseball bat in a road rage incident, police said.
On Tuesday, Nov. 1, police responded to a report of road rage in Yorktown on East Main Street (Route 6) in the area of Mohegan Diner, and through investigating found that the suspect had left his car, approached the victim while holding a baseball bat, and had left before police arrived, according to Yorktown Police.

1 Killed, 5 Injured In Head-On Hudson Valley Crash
One person was killed and five injured during a head-on, three-car Hudson Valley crash.
It took place in Orange County around 8:30 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 15 in Woodbury, on Route 6.
An initial investigation of the crash revealed that a 2021 Ford Explorer was traveling east on Route 6 when the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Rockland County resident Chaim Gordon, age 24, from Spring Valley, attempted to pass a Cadillac in front of him and crossed over the double yellow line and entered the opposite lane striking a 2003 Nissan X-Terra head-on, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
