BRIDGEWATER, Conn. - Virginia E. Kinney, of Bridgewater and formerly of Yonkers, died Monday, April 1. She was 65.
Kinney was born June 8, 1947, in New Milford, daughter of Starr R. and Edith (Booth) Kinney. She was a teacher in the Yonkers Public School District for more than 30 years before retiring.
Kinney was a member of St. Joseph of Arimathia Church in Elmsford, N.Y., while living in Yonkers. Upon returning to Bridgewater, she became a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Kinney is survived by three nieces; and a grand- nephew and -nieces. She was predeceased by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Bridgewater, Conn.
