Paraskewia Kaczor, 87, Of Yonkers, Worked At Precision Valve Corporation

YONKERS, N.Y. - Paraskewia (Peggy) Kaczor, a longtime resident of Yonkers, died Oct. 18. She was 87.

Kaczor was born Sept. 22, 1926, in Rozdziele, Poland, to Simon and Julia Dudra. She worked at Precision Valve Corporation in Yonkers and Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church and a member of the Sacred Heart Society.

Kaczor is survived by her children, John (Barbara) Kaczor, Marie Kaczor and Julie (Patrick) Serenson; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Michael Kaczor; and grandson, John Simon Kaczor, Jr.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Pannakhyda will be Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 21 Shonnard Place, Yonkers. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Saw Mill River Road, Hastings on Hudson.
