YONKERS, N.Y. – City buildings, community centers, businesses and schools are opening several showering facilities, warming centers and charging stations for powerless residents. Here's a list available resources:

Emergency Shelters Yonkers Police Athletic League at 127 N. Broadway.

Showering Facilities (bring ID, towel and toiletries)

  • Sarah Lawrence College Campbell Sports Center, Kimball and Wilgarth avenues, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • Bally Total Fitness, 589 Tuckahoe Road, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
  • Equalize Fitness, 1 Odell Plaza, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
  • Powerhouse Gym, 750 Central Park Ave., from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
  • Lucille Roberts. 1745 Central Park Ave., from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Women only.
  • The YMCA, 17 Riverdale Ave., from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Electronic Charging Centers Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Coyne Park, Chema Center, Cola Center, Scotti Center, Nodine Hill Community Center, Hudson River Museum, Lincoln High School.
