  • Alamo Drafthouse Cinema announced it will officially open in Yonkers Aug. 5. The new entertainment and eatery complex is at 2548 Central Park Ave.
  • Rapper and Yonkers resident DMX filed for bankruptcy. The rapper, whose birth name is Earl Simmons, declared less than $50,000 in assets and $1 million to $10 million in debts. $1.3 million of his debt is reportedly owed to child support.
  • Yonkers native James Comey was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Monday to become the next director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
