Woman Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Crash Between Car, Tractor-Trailer A Hudson Valley woman was seriously injured following a crash with a tractor-trailer. The crash took place in Orange County around 11:15 a.m., Thursday, June 1 in the town of Newburgh. Brandi Wickliffe, age 46, of the town of Newburgh, pleaded guilty on Thursday, April 7, under a plea agreement that will recommend she serve six to eight years in state prison, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. 11-Year-Old Hudson Valley Girl Killed During Height Of Storm An 11-year-old Hudson Valley girl was killed by a falling tree as a line of intense storms rolled through the area. The girl and her mother had just arrived home on Robinson Avenue in Newburgh around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday and were unloading their car when the tree toppled onto the top of the vehicle, trapping the girl inside, said Newburgh Police Department Det.
