Know Him? Man Used Stolen Credit Cards In Islandia, Central Islip, Police Say Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly used a stolen credit card to make purchases at different stores. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives said the man used the card in Islandia and Central Islip. The purchases were made in September at the Walmart in Islandia and Target in Central Islip in excess of $1,000 police said. 23-Year-Old Montville Woman Busted For Attacking, Contacting Ex-Significant Other, Police Say A 23-year-old Connecticut woman has been charged twice on two separate occasions for allegedly first attacking and then contacting her ex-significant other. The incident began in New London County in the town of Griswold on Thursday, Sept. 14. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers were dispatched to an address in the town of Griswold for the report of a physical altercation between two people. Man From Region Stabs Woman In Neck In Eldred, Police Say A man from the region was nabbed after allegedly breaking into a home and stabbing an ex-girlfriend in the throat with a scalpel. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Eldred around 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 on Pine Ayre Drive. According to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies responded after a woman called 911 after a man, identified as Orange County resident Luke Matthews, age 36, of Middletown, broke into the home. Man Busted In Darien With Stolen IDs, Credit Cards, Police Say A 22-year-old man was nabbed for allegedly stealing an identification card in Fairfield County and was found with a pocketful of credit cards and a license that did not belong to him, police said. Queens resident Adrian Melian, age 22, was charged in Darien on Sunday, Sept. 17. According to Sgt. Traffic Alert: Roadway To Close For Building Demolition In Darien Drivers in Fairfield County will need to adjust their travel route for more than a week as a 3-story building is demolished. Corbin Drive in Darien will be closed at Post Road beginning Monday, Sept. 25 through Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the demolition of the building at 10 Corbin Drive, Darien Police said. The road will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The businesses located on Corbin Drive will be open and accessible during these times by using the Old King’s Highway South end of Corbin Drive, officials said.

New Haven Overdose Death, Stabbing May Be Connected To Large Fight, Police Say Police in Connecticut are working to connect a large fight to the overdose death of a woman and a man who was stabbed multiple times. The incidents took place in New Haven around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 when the New Haven Fire Department responded to a call of an unconscious woman in the 300 block of Howard Avenue. Poughkeepsie Drug Dealer Busted By Task Force, Police Say A Hudson Valley alleged drug dealer was busted by the Drug Task Force following a warrant search of his home. Dutchess County resident Anthony Howlett, age 32, from the town of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 21 with criminal sale of a controlled substance. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, agents opened an investigation into Howlett for selling narcotics in the Poughkeepsie area. Waterbury Man Charged With Animal Cruelty After Husky Found With Chain Embedded In Neck A Connecticut man has been charged with animal cruelty and other charges after he was identified as the owner of a Siberian Husky found wandering in May with a chain embedded in his neck with skin beginning to grow over it. Son Slices Ellenville Mother's Throat Trying To Kill Her, Police Say A man is behind bars after allegedly slicing his mother's throat in an attempt to kill her in the region, police said. The attack took place in Ulster County in Ellenville around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 on Roslyn Street. According to Capt.
