State Police Conduct Underage Drinking Initiative At Westchester Businesses Nearly two dozen area businesses were found to be in compliance during a New York State Police underage drinking initiative. On Saturday, Jan. 16, New York State Police investigators in Somers conducted an investigation into 20 area businesses, each of which was found to be in compliance when checked by undercover teens. Two Westchester Store Clerks Sold Alcohol To Minors, Police Say Clerks at two stores in Northern Westchester were charged with selling alcohol to underage customers in a detail conducted by New York State Police from the Somers barracks on Friday, April 27. A total of 10 establishments were checked during the detail. The two clerks charged were: Danbury resident Nube M. Drunk Driver Hits Tree, Knocking Out Passenger In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 22-year-old man is facing multiple charges of DWI after driving into a tree, knocking a passenger unconscious, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
