'Taco Tuesday' At Chipotle's Westchester Locales Aids Breast Cancer Fight

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- On Tuesday, March 28, you can have your taco and eat it too -- meaning you can dine at Chipotle Mexican Grill and support a good cause at the same time.

The fast-food chain will be hosting its annual fundraiser for Susan G. Komen Greater NYC, a nonprofit group whose mission is to “create more breast cancer survivors.”

Chipotles at Rye Brook, Dobbs Ferry, and White Plains will be among participating locales.

Fifty percent of proceeds from meals sold between 10:45 a.m. and 10 p.m. that day will be donated to Komen Greater NYC, which will use the money to provide women with life-saving breast health services and to contribute to research to find a cure.

To be part of “Taco Tuesday,” Chipotle patrons need to find a participating location, order a meal, tell the cashier “I’m here for Komen NYC,” and spread the word.

One lucky patron will win free Chipotle catering for themselves and 19 other people.

To enter the contest, follow @KomenGreaterNYC on Instagram and post a photo of your meal with the hashtag #TacosForKomen.
