15 Displaced As Fire Breaks Out At Three-Story, Multi-Family House In Westchester Fifteen residents have been displaced after a two-alarm fire sparked in a multi-family home on Christmas night. Firefighters were dispatched to a three-story Locust Hill Avenue home shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, when a fire broke out in the walls and ceilings of all three floors, Yonkers Deputy Chief Daniel Flynn said. Crews were on scene within two minutes, Flynn noted. The fire was knocked down and under control by 11:27 p.m. According to Flynn, four firefighters suffered minor injuries battling the blaze.
